Terms of Use
Using this site means accepting these terms. They are short.
Estimates, not advice
The prices, calculators and comparisons on wattsworthit are estimates based on published averages and on the inputs you provide. They are not a quote from a utility, an installer or a fuel dealer, and they are not financial, engineering or legal advice. Check prices, equipment ratings and incentives with the people who will sell or install them before you decide.
Accuracy
We work to keep every figure correct and cite where it comes from, but publishers revise data and mistakes happen. The site is provided as is, without warranties. Reported mistakes are fixed and listed on the corrections page.
Using our content
You may quote and link to the site, and use its figures with a link back to the page they came from. The underlying EIA data is in the public domain. The text, calculators and design of the site are ours; please do not republish whole pages.
Links and advertising
The site links to sources and other sites it does not control. It may show advertising, which does not influence what the site publishes.
